I am a noob here and I hesitate to revive this controversial and ill tempered thread, but I'm going to chance my arm because this is one of the strangest discussions I have ever read, even on the internet. My apologies to anyone who thinks it is not my place to have an opinion, but what is the use of being a member if you can't say what you think?

This is my opinion now. There is no place for any images of underage models on an adult forum. On another place I am a moderator and this question does crop up, especially on threads concerning child actresses such as Emma Watson or Natalie Portman who have a lot of images in the public domain taken before their 18th birthday. This often creates problems for moderators who have to constantly be looking for underage images on their threads, so it is an onerous rule to enforce. No doubt the moderators here have exactly the same headaches. But:

• There are law enforcement agencies who will clamp down hard on any adult site which disregards this principle. Frankly, that's no bad thing.
• It is right in any case that images of children under 18 (even supposedly "innocent" images) are excluded. They don't belong on an adult site. Period.
• What Hollywood is allowed to get away with is irrelevent. What is freely accessible on Myley Cyrus's or Emma Watson's websites or in the celebrity gossip magazines is irrelevent. These are not adult forums.
• It is the member who posts the image who has a duty to know when it was taken and how old the model was at the time. In my humble opinion, if you are not 100% certain when the photo was taken, then you really shouldn't post it.

As an aside, this seems to me to be an important discussion about a serious issue. I am surprised though that anyone could seriously argue that images taken before the model's 18th birthday have any place on an adult forum. "Surprised" is a very mild and diplomatic word for my reaction to this idea. The rule is right, and the moderators are right to be strict about enforcing it.

Scoundrel is 100% right. It constantly amazes me when I see underage photos of Brooke Shields on forums. Why her trailer trash mother would allow pictures of her at 10 or 12 years old topless and in stockings to be published is a mystery to me...no, wait, it's not a mystery. It's money. She's a pimp, prostituting her own daughter. It may have been legal, for some un-godly reason, but that don't make it right. If people had one iota of morals anymore there would be no question to whether it was right or not. It just wouldn't be allowed, and if anyone here has to think about whether it's right or not, he would need immediate intervention in the way of psychiatry. Or maybe just take some time off for a nice afternoon of electroshock therapy.

I also got warned of being banned for it...on my first posts! I'm not complaining, if that's the rules..fine. Nobody made me join this forum. Well, first of all "we prefer" doesn't really denote a hard and fast rule. It's the equivalent to saying.."you can, but we would rather you didn't". Next, saying "don't only post fully clothed". That means "you can post fully clothed pictures but include some un or partially clothed pictures also". Now that's a lot different than saying nudes only. Then there's the "sexy" part, which of course the rules don't say at all. But I understand what he meant. Only problem is, some photos were removed that the mod considered not to be sexy. Well, maybe I did! What's sexy to one guy can be boring to another. And how can a poster determine what another guy considers sexy? Isn't "sexy" a relative term? I considered even some headshots of the woman I posted to be sexy...a beautiful face, lucious full lips, huge almond eyes...that's part of the total package, isn't it? I don't consider just staring up someone's bare ass all the time to be sexy...it's more like being a gynecologist.

Once again, I'm not complaining, or trying to make trouble, or anything. I want to be a good member and a good poster. I'm just trying to see what's what here. I was also told to look around and see what other members post. Well, I did...and I've found headshots, fully clothed posts, and celebs in sweatpants and such doing the shopping..which even to me is pretty damn un-sexy. So...I'm just saying perhaps some definite rules should be made...or more specifically made. Especially if you're going to ban members for breaking rules that they can't even understand. Just a thought, didn't mean to make anybody mad. Brian

Maddgreek, I was being serious. I'm not criticizing any mods, or anything...I realize that particular mod was just doing his job as he saw it, but I think I also had some good points. I'm just sincerely confused about this. Can you clarify this particular rule? Thanks.

your point was valid sir, with so many mods is just a decision each one makes. i dont delete or move clothed posts if i feel they are sexy shots but thats just me.

The pictures depicted on this Forum have a nudity-standard.
That goes way back when semi-nude or nude-pics were rare.
If any woman gets into a status where her picture is taken then you can find thousands of pictures of her around, and those are not the pictures you should find on this forum.
However, since it is unavoidable, over 80% of the pics on this forum does not meet that standard.
There is a very thin line between ok and not ok.
As Madd said: "The Mods are Humans and they react different".
The Goal of this forum is not as much as possible (as i would want it) but as exclusive (Cman-style) as possible.
And every Mods reacts different to the "exclusivity"-thing.
We are not allowed to spam other forums here but if you want lots of pics then there are several (>10) forums where you can find more.
Thats how i see it.
I'm not happy with the rules either but i liv with it.
It will take some time but finally you will find that rules are there not for nothing.
It is not nice to talk about the rules that way because it proves you don't understand the "exclusivity"-thing.

Sadly, if you discarded 'non-nude' images, then most of the celebrity stuff would disappear. The starlets who do a lot of nude work are in the tiny minority.

I'm one of those so much hated new age mods. But here's my $2.

But I also miss the good old days when I got yelled at by Cman, greek, boom, da pimp, castor, Z and supafly. But It worked, I somewhat stopped posting crap.

This forum has been running downhill since Cman stepped back, and Is in pretty shitty state imho.

Like they say "The fish always stinks from the head", by that I mean it seems the admin does not give a shit.

I would also love to have more strict rules about picture posting. But the rule must be clear and written down for me to follow. I would be more than willing to delete more than half of my posts if needed.

But this creates another problem - lack of mods. Right now we've got only like 3-4 mods working daily. And that's clearly not enought to go through hundreds of threads and thousands of posts. But where to get the mods? Who would step up?

To get rid of fully clothed stuff and link dumpers would be a dream, but for that we need more mods and an admin to make the rules stricter.

It means we'd loose 100 visiting members and 10 posters - it's sacrifice I'd be willing to take to bring this forum back to its glory days.

i really dont have a problem that much with clothed pics as long as they are sexy.

say what you want about cman and i for one alot of times loved to get into flame wars with him... but he did care about the forum and as an admin he would post and get involved with the members, posters and mods.
the fun in the forum starts with the owners then trickles down to the rest of the members.

in any case i care for this place hence why i have been modding here for so many years and im still here i just dont "enjoy" it like i used to. i dont even have the energy to rip apart noobie asses that make crappy posts..and i was a master at that.. (at least it made others think before they posted...:fag

I'll have to agree with maddgreek again here for the most part. I'm fine with a lot of pics as long as they are hot and show something. The red carpet pics and the constant face shots are ones that I hate the most. I think the mod team we have right now has a pretty good understanding of the rules and even though a lot of this is personal preference, we still defer to each other on decisions and keep a fairly consistent enforcement of the rules.

But there is a lot less fun happening around here, and it has gone down a lot since Cman sold the place. The exp0sed site as a whole was his baby and he took care of it like it was, even if some of us tried to mess with him some (COUGH COUGH, me) and got pissed about trivial crap (cough, me) early on. It was nice back then having admins that regularly showed up and got things going with the members. I'm glad the place is still going, but it could be a lot better. Maybe once it hits summer and us college-aged mods get more time to be here, it'll get a bit more organized. But again, I am glad to see a thread like this resurrected and people having intelligent discussions again, besides the wrestling thread and at times the NFL thread.

it wasnt odd to have bunch of admins and mods and members on at the same time and start a thread even in jihad and go on and flame for hours. i remember this one thread me and pimp started with a random pic that turned out to be 63 pages of posting amateur self shot hotties.... ah fun times.

back to the thread at hand though... like i said its impossible to maintain a forum with just nude pics. most celebs dont have any... just nip slips sexy shots etc. i like the way things are but rules keep changing as some see fit.

I think Kaboom makes a good point, and I agree with him and maddgreek. There's a lot of sexy and beautiful photos of celebs out there that have a lot to offer most members...most nudes are few and far between, and usually scans from some movie that they're nude in are of such a shitty quality they aren't worth the effort. But I'm not for the run of the mill tabloid photos, either. They had that in the forum I came here from, like 100 pictures of Princess Di in different hats, or scores of red carpet pictures of a celeb in a floor length gown slowly working her way down the carpet...three inches at a time. Or "here's Gwen Stefani taking her little rug rats to school, and here she is doing the shopping in sweatpants, and leaving her house on the way to the dentist, and coming back to her house on the way back from the dentist, etc., etc., ad nauseum. No, that has no interest for me, personally...I'm a guy, and this is primarily a guy's forum. But I see nothing wrong with a nice photoshoot of a celeb where she's showing some good leg, or ass, or cleavage...or even..(dare I say it)...an occasional picture of her face! Not headshots of Susan Doyle, but a nice closeup of Megan Fox, or Sophia Loren, or Raquel Welch...you know, the kind of face you want to see when you're about to blow your cookies...that ain't bad either... to me, at least. I mean, if you love women, you like to see a beautiful ass, or legs, or tits...why not a face? Aren't there some women around whose faces are at least as beautiful as their ass?

But, once again, my point is that you mods and admins need to get together and set some definite parameters, here, and agree on them, and let the members know, so we have some definitive guidelines. Like I said, I can't read minds...I don't know what mod Joe Blow considers "sexy", and then be threatened with banning because I posted a picture of whoever because her skirt only came up to her mid-thigh, and not her top thigh. That dog just won't hunt.
