I thought you hated the CZ Rep lol (except the ladies, of course)
So you should know the reason I'm going back then

Ok, I've decided that hotels are too much of a hassle to worry about, so I'm just going to stay at "brand name" hotels (ie. Best Western etc). I figure they should be half decent and it allows me to worry about other issues instead.

I would still like some advice as far as what things I should see in each city. Like maybe the top 2 or 3 attractions.

First, I realize there are websites out there, but they usually don't help much.

Cman,

All I know is that the site I mentioned advertises all the time around here and they mention the stuff you were asking about. Probably at least worth a try.

Second, I should ban you just for calling me American and insinuating that I would act badly.

Cman,

I didn't call you an American! I just warned about acting or looking like one. Better to be safe than sorry.

I would advice you not to stay too long in Frankfurt. It's imo not the most interesting German city. It is the financial capital of Germany. If you don't go there for business i would recommend other cities like Berlin and Munich.

For Amsterdam a canal tour is a must. On a nice warm summer day renting a 'canal bike' is fun. Or rent a regular bike. It is safe to ride in the city because nearly all Dutch have a bike. In the evening Leidseplein and Rembrandtplein are the places to be. Lots of bars, restaurants, clubs etc.

I don't really think ANY of Germany is interesting really LOL. Thats the city I'm flying to, which is the only reason I'm spending any time there. I would like to go to Berlin, but its kind of far away and kind of in the opposite direction that I'm headed, so we'll see. (Also, I don't want to end up in Bratislava instead lol)

haha, not this time. well, not completely anyway. i'm not going to any conventions on this trip, but i guess that doesn't mean i won't meet any nice ladies (for free that is) hahaha ;)

i'm going for 2 weeks, but i'm thinking of going back again this fall. i might hit up the amsterdam convention i was to last year, if i am there at the right time.

Dude, for Amsterdam, stay at the Best Western. It's about a ten minute walk from everything, the beds are really nice and best of all: it's cheap!

By the way, im serious. Don't forget to stop by the (?)Blue Bird Cafe.

Cman,

Just ran across a place to stay in Amsterdam that sounds quite amusing. Do you remember Xaviera Hollander? If not, I'll write something up on her. Needless to say, she was a madam in NYC in the 70's that caused a bit of a stir.

Anyway, she now has a b&b in Amsterdam which sounds like it could be a bit of fun. Here's the site:
