Anyone play the new GTA yet? The liberty one. Any good?

Yeah Cman I got it for my PSP its top quality, amazing graphics for such a small piece of harware, lots of classic songs from the early 90's. You play Toni who for those that know the GTA story will remember from GTA 3, Liberty City Stories is set three years before the events of GTA 3 and theres a lot of issues between the rival families. Once again great cars, great big city to get lost in and a very large amount of violence, GTA has become hand held and wireless. It doesn't get any better this!!

My wife ordered a bunch of shit from Toys R Us online and we got a big package yesterday. They accidentally shipped a copy of Ultima 8 Online: The Eighth Age (wasn't even on the invoice). I really don't know a lot about MMORPGs. Is this something that I should even install or am I going to be completely consumed for months playing this?

Depends

It depends on what you're looking for. If you're looking for the console with the best games now, the XBox 360 wins. If your looking for best bang-for-buck (Blu-Ray movies look very good on an HDTV) and the best games long-term, the PS3 wins (at-least in my opinion). I personally prefer the PS3, but I can understand those who can't resist the allure of the 360's current game line-up.

the ps3 should have better(and more) games, but its just not up to speed yet.

The games that are out now on both systems were made for 360 and ported over to ps3 so they look and sometimes play better on the 360. The last great "rated 10" game Bioshock is also on 360. 40 million dollar game!! On the other hand there are also ps2 games pouring in that can be played on ps3 like god of war 2, and okami. Ps3 doesn't have rumble yet. Ps3 is coming out with their free version of tivo where you record live tv onto harddrive and you can even connect to it with a psp and watch the movies you've downloaded onto your ps3. I have a psp and ps3 and can say it's pretty amazing. I would get a 360 to if i wasn't so scared of the ring of death that everyone seems to be getting. If you can wait 2 more months you'll get to see who has what before christmas hits and you'll get a better idea of what you might like. I don't know about 360 but the content on the ps3 blueray disks is so large that some games have an initial load to hardrive for basic info for the game, after the couple of minutes it takes to load the first time, the games load really fast, and of course it is saved so you don't keep dl'ding it.

its actually nothing to worry about anymore, microsoft covers it in the warranty. if you get the RROD, they fix or replace ya.

I have the 260 an I am completely happy with it. I love the feature that allows me to access my computer and play my own songs while I play games. It works like a juke box (Instead of spending thousands ona jukebox).

Anyway, I have 2 friends that have both and they both go with the 360. For almost all reasons.

What games in the future will be ps3 only?

You should really think about upgrading to a XBOX 360, yours sounds a little outdated. But seriously, I'm happy with my PS5. I'm just waiting for more and better game selection which will come with time.

Does it really rock One? I've been thinking about getting it for my PC. Seen all the previews, and it seems like one of the best looking FPS games EVER!?! Loved HalfLife 2, so it's right up my alley.

yea i have yet to invest in either, i'm swayed towards the 360 because my college friends have it and I'm moving across the country here in a couple months, so it'd be nice to still pwn them from california . As far as PS3 only games, as long as I can still play GTA IV and Halo 3, then I'm set. PS3's rad n all, but I'd rather spend $500 on an XBOX360, games, controllers, and save the leftover towards a bigget TV than just get the PS3. Plus the XBOX live community is pretty rad. And you can plug in any device with mp3s on it VIA usb and listen to it's music....
