The Shield starts back up in a couple weeks and I can't wait. As far as I can tell The Strike Team is Disbanded for now. Glenn Close (Capt. Monica Rawling) and Anthony Anderson have joined the cast. From What I read Anderson's charactor will be a reformed gangbanger. So many questions to be answered from last season, Will there be tension between the former Strike Team?, Will Aceveda finally bring down Mackey or will Vic stay one step ahead? Is any one else a fan? If you have never seen the show I Highly recomend you watch, one episode will have you hooked.

Really into 24 again this season. Although fox pissed me off with their recent disclaimer about terrorists. Leave the politically correct shit out of my tv shows please.

I'm done.

24 is amazing... one of the best shows on tv (has been since the 1st season way back).

I'm really into House too, I think he is histerical and am always pumped to see the next episode

And Boston Legal is another extremely good show. Very funny, highly reccommended

The rest of the shows i really like...
- Aqua Teen Hunger Force (on adult swim)
- Scrubs
- Curb Your Enthusiasm
- CSI

and then the ones i know i shouldnt like but always find myself watching
- the OC
- American Idol

I don't think I watch a lot of tv overall. The shows I watch on a regular basis would be:
Amazing Race
Survivor
Apprentice
-----real tv from here on down-----
Arrested Development
Curb Your Enthusiam(from time to time)
Sopranos(" ")
Malcom in the Middle(" ")
Scrubs
Law and Order: SVU
Without a Trace(Poppy Montgomery is one of the hottest chicks on tv)

anyone else watch the Shrek like cartoon on NBC "Father of the Pride" before it got cancelled? I thought it was ok.

I tried watching Carnivale for the "laugh at midgets" factor, but it was waaaay too trippy and lost me.

I do dig on some Deadwood though.

I am totally addicted to the various Discovery Channels and Food, for some reason.

I love Carnivale for that simple fact. When ever I'm done watching it I feel like I've just been kicked in the head. It's fucking good stuff.

I watch Deadwood too. New season coming pretty soon.

Sopranos, all the C.S.I shows and Two & Half Men are probably the ones that I can't miss.Started watching The Amazing Race, thought it would be lame but it's hard case watching them bitch at each other.
Third Watch is another that I have to watch but the programming here is fucked up,sat up last night to watch it(double episode)only to see something about Jon Benet Ramsey. They might as well be looking for the second gunman on the grassy knoll.
And yes fuckin Survivor dragged me back in again.

My favorite show is Reno 911 and I can't wait till the new season whenever it comes back on. I also like Arrested Development and I'm waiting for the second season to come on DVD. I missed a lot of episodes

,His wife Victoria is a former playmate, while she is not the brightest bulb in the box she is having a go while this jumped up little prick yells abuse, pushes her around and simply degrades her in front of everyone.I noticed last night she had bruises on her arms(maybe from him?)
Any bloke that treats women like that needs to be slapped with the back of a bus!!

The ER. It's very good. But it's kind of social porn. And the tenth season is going on so ER is longlasting. Amazing race is too hectic for me. And that woman is complaining all the time. Is it this Victoria, I don't know.

I have been a fan of Arrested Development since it started. I don't know if this is true, but I heard it might be getting cancelled,(don't quote me on that though). I also love Aqua Teen Hunger Force and Robot Chicken on Adult Swim. Reno 911 and Chapelle Show are also funny. I missed a few episodes of Lost, and was completely lost(no pun intended).

As anyone here watched the American version of "The Office" on NBC. It is pretty funny and has Steve Carell from the Daily Show, which I am also a fan of.

Just my two cents on some of my favorite shows.

I must second, third, and fourth the AD praising. I will boycott FOX, except for all sports related events, if AD is canceled. I am comtemplating not buying any Simpsons DVDs or Seinfeld DVDs. I urge you, America, WATCH ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT. 8:30 EST. You know, if you get tired after Malcolm, you can sleep through the Simpsons and wake up for AD, just please, watch it.

I too would like to praise AD. I don't know why people aren't watching this show. The only thing I can think is that some jokes are inside to people who have watched the show since the first season, so some new people might not get all the jokes. I hope season 3 is a lock, and if not, that another network takes a chance.

Mmm... I love me some Simpsons ripoffs... not. I used to be high on the family Guy dooby, but... come on. Have you seen some old school Simpsons. Honda, this isn't directed at you, just common rant, but its a blantant ripoff. Even Seth McFarlene says the Simpsons guys hate him and his writers. On top of that, the episodes don't retain their funny. If you look at a show like Seinfeld, all episodes of which I've seen atleast 5 times, its still funny the 6th and 7th. However, Family Guy is rarely funny the 3rd, and they dont have a large library of episodes to choose from. I think the cartoon comedy is on the downfall, Family Guy= overhyped and repitive and copyright-infringmative Simpsons=take out the feeding tube South Park= just died, IMO, no one talks about it anymore.

The Simpsons do need to end now. They had a great run and will go down as one of the best comedies ever. But they all have to end sometime.

Family Guy is getting a bit stale now, I'll admit. But hopefully some new life will breath into it when the new spisodes start.

South Park is still pretty funny, but not like it used to be, but tell me, are most shows 7th or 8th season as good as their first or second? I don't think so.

South Park is still hilarious. I still break into uncontrollable laughter every time Kenny dies or when the baby is even on the screen.
Also some shows definately get funnier. I think the newer episodes of Friends are way funnier than the older ones, even though I thought Friends was great from the start. When you watch the old ones now they just don't seem as funny.

Just wondering also how long everybody actually watches TV shows on average a week. Iv'e given up watching them as I hate missing episodes. I normally just wait for the DVD to be released.
