Somehow it has been 20 posts and noone has thrown out easily the best show on television... Aqua Teen Hunger Force. Family Guy is amazing as well. I rarely get to see any prime time shows, always in class or working, so I'm pretty much completely out of the loop on those. i do like to catch CSI, either new or reruns on Spike or UPN, they are usually new to me.

I don't mind Real World / Road Rules, but reality shows beyond that piss me off. Especially this "Real Gilligans Island" bullshit, ruining the old one it is. Although, they keep on doing these RW vs. RR challenges/Inferno/Battle of the Sexes shit and that's really annoying. Stop giving these freaks more than their 15 minutes of fame!

! What the hell has happened to the Simpsons!! This season has not had a single funny moment yet, I am really fucking dissappointed in Groening, Jean and company. Never thought I'd say it, but they shoulda stopped at 15 seasons :?

Paris Hilton is on her journey through the gay man's ass...HAHAHA
:!: Trey Parker and Matt Stone are awesome :!:

Any of you guys see it?

[Edit]
You guys are right Family Guy IS the best. No matter how many times I watch the episodes I still laugh my ass off.

Any of you guys see (this weeks South Park)?

I usually catch them on Thursday, but this time they did a long ago repeat. Big Gay Al as the scout leader, still fucking brilliant. Matt and Trey definitely are genius, even if Trey only finds his own work funny. South Park = the greatest show until ATHF aired!

The 4400 is over. It was a mid-season replacement that lasted 4 episodes IIRC. It might continue, but if its going to, I (and Sci-Fi.com's newsletter) have yet to hear anything about it. Similar situation with the brilliant but short-lived USA show, "Touching Evil".

And I'm also getting onto Lost.

i cant get enough sopranos, myself. i normally miss it every day at 9, but when its on i enjoy every minute of it.

cant wait til i get seinfeld 1-3, best show ever.

reguarding family guy and south park, i used to watch them all the time but when things get to popular, i stop. i couldnt go through 1 class without a family guy refernce, plus ive seen them all. and i hate everyone saying "Respect ma authoritee." The same thing happened to me with the Daily Show. when i saw my mom watching it i knew it was time for me to stop.

Top 5 Funniest Shows on TV according to me:
1.) Arrested Development
2a.) Malcom
2b.) Scrubs
4.) Chappelles Show
5.) Seinfeld(still funny)

Good call on Entourage Supa.
I wasn't expecting it to be too good when I first
heard about it, but it ended up being pretty damn cool.
The episode with Val Kilmer as a weed-selling sherpa is CLASSIC.

Also, that Venture Brothers show on Adult Swim is kinda sweet.
It reminds me of old school Johnny Quest type shit.

Reno 911, Insomniac with Dave Attell, and those Road Rule challenges are damn entertaining as well.

I'm out of the loop, where's Kilborn going? i thought he kicked ass, although having to play opposite of Conan is a death sentence. I actually saw, Michael Ian Black guest host a few months ago, he sucked. I was dissappointed, i always found him hilarious on the VH1 clip shows. But yeah, i'm glad they didn't choose him for the replacement. I don't know about Mr. Wick hosting the Late Late Show though :? , doesn't seem quite fitting. Oh well, like i said, he has to play opposite Conan, and Conan owns all.

24 is hands down the best tv show out there...I fear it will start to grow stale in a 4th season, I mean how many shitty hours can one man have?? The funniest show on tv right now is My Big Fat Obnoxious Boss, bunch of people who quit their jobs to go on those fake show and think they will hit it big, if you see no other episode, check it out next Sunday, its the office paintball episode everyone has been waiting for.

Oscar: Kilborn quit to write and produce some other stuff...I always thought he was way better than Conan, Conan annoys me, I know I am very in the minority with that thinking though...

As a fore-note, I think Conan O'Brien is fucking awesome.
With that aside, I do agree that his opening monologues can get quite repetetive, especially if you watch the show night after night.
But one cannot deny the fact that Conan is a comic genius.
Some of the funniest shit that I have seen was a result of Conan's
pairings with Jim Carrey on his show.
Also, Conan was a writer for SNL during some of their better years...
That's gotta mean something...

the stuff between the opening monolouge and interviews are very funny, but im not gonna watch the thing just for that one part. the interviews all he does is kiss the celebs ass, its digusting. hes so much better than leno or letterman, any day, but i couldnt watch him day in and day out

I'd venture to say over the next 5 years, Conan is going to start changing his format quite a bit. He'll do it slowly, but he has to start moving towards what will be required at the "11:35" slot. And his show, as much as it is adored (by most) now, won't fly well with the 11:35 crowd. aka old folks who eat crumpets. All comedians though are victims of repitition, it's like any artist or performer, you have things you've learned and work for you and it is tough to change that routine, because it is in essence what has made you and has worked for you.

Anyway, new topic, I'd forgotten about this show until i dug out a dvd i bought of it. Not sure if it is still on, but when i was in England ~1 year ago, I got sucked into watching this show "The Office," it's mild British humor (my non-expert, but kinda novice opinion on Brit humor anyway). I find it absolutely hilarious, brilliant even. Just wondering if anyone else has seen it.

Not exactly sure what you mean by "mild British Humour"?

Anyway, the Office is incredibly popular here in the UK, they made 2 series and special Christmas episodes last year. The writers, Ricky Gervais (who plays David Brent) and Stephen Merchant have said that they won't be doing any more series. This means that the DVD sales of the existing shows have been pretty good!

My favourite part of the show is where Tim keeps calling Gareth on his mobile to tell him he's a cock!

By mild I just meant not as overtly sexual etc, "cleane fun" maybe. I've only got the six episodes or season 2 on dvd, season 2 is running about us$40, so i havent got to buying it yet. Brent is hilarious, but I'd say my favorite character pairing is Tim and Gareth for moments such as, "How do you hide an entire chair!?"
