Thanks for clarifying that up. It wasn't provided before as to the forum policies on "duplicate" files and the definition of "duplicate". Since a clear line is drawn between the regular dvd ripped clips and HDTV clips, i will use this as a yardstick before posting anymore clips.
Having said that however, I can foresee it will be diffilcult to avoid posting "duplicate" files when some previous clips posted does not even have screencaps, and even if they do, it tells nothing about the quality and nature of the files posted. I believe there is a guideline which prohibit this but i'm unsure as to how this is strictly enforced as i can still see a lot of such posts around the forum. It will be unrealistic to expect a member to download each and every file to verify it before posting the clips. As such, i hope the moderators would practice some leeway in such a circumstance.
It's odd that you would have missed it but I did include all the necessary details i.e. file size, resolution, length in my screencaps which i posted along with every clip so as to set out the difference with the ones i posted along with those posted previously. All it takes is just a mouse click on the thumbnail link. It will be redundant to type it all out again.
As for the definition of "quality was not that much greater". I believe this will take a new thread altogether
