In fact he wasn't banned for "sarcasm". He was banned because he didn't follow basic politely made requests, went out of his way to keep arguing for pretty much an entire evening then turned it into a proper issue that made him above the rules and regulations. And the subject of this? A post containing two headshots embedded full sized so that they dominated the entire page and obliterated everything else. It wasn't even a permanent removal, just a 30day suspension to give him time to sort himself out and realise he is subject to the same rules and conditions as everyone else. Oh. And the "unbanning" [is that a word?] occurred without any discussion at all.
Clearly he does have special status and some people are more equal than others. It makes one wonder what's the point?
