muse usually have cool videos. Butterflies & Hurricanes is also great, plus Bliss, and Unintended.
Stockholm Syndrome and Hysteria are two of their best songs though (also with clips), and a bit heavier than Sing For Absolution.

Chemical Brothers - Star Guitar
- if you've not seen it, try and find it now. This clip needs to be seen I wont explain it, but it's awesome. Very well made. You may not pick up on it straight away (why it's so cool), but try to take notice of whats happening.
It's by the director of Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind by the way. He does another Chemical Brothers one too, which is just as good. Can't remember the name, but the clip is like all optical illusions. Might be the "Let Forever Be" one war|forever mentioned??



I also agree with Tool's clips (especially Parabola) and Aphex Twin's Come to Daddy, but the three above are the best in my opinion.



speaking of Metallica's The Unforgiven, anyone got or seen the 10 minute version? I remember seeing it around the time it came out, has heaps more before the song starts, but have had some trouble finding it now.

As I virtually never listen to country music, I can't say I know a lot about the Dixie Chicks or their little episode. Apparently, a while back (2003?), the lead singer of the group (Natalie Maines) said something to the effect that she wasn't proud that GW came from the same state as the group (Texas) while on tour in England. Well, that apparently caused a stir amongst country peabrains who destroyed their CD's and threatened their lives (bright, real bright).

Anyway, they have a new CD and a good article in Time magazine. The first release is actually quite a good song. And the title basically tells their attitude about the whole episode, "I'm Not Ready to Make Nice." You'll find it here:

Pay attention to the lyrics, they're really quite good. I may actually start listening to them a bit more. You go girls!

P.S. Also pay attention to the imagery. I haven't figured it all out yet, but I do like their reference to either having a spine or a lack of one. I bet this goes over like a lead balloon in the country world.

P.P.S. After watching the video a few times now, it seems to me that this is one of the best music videos ever made. It reminds me a lot of the music of the 60's and early 70's.
