IMDB.com has added some new details on the fourth WWE movie, "Jornada del muerto." The plot outline reads, "A modern-day Western where gangs, drug trafficking and broken codes of honor rule." Also, the initial cast list for the movie reads like this in the following order; Paul Levesque (it is believed that Triple H will be the main star of the movie), John Cena, Mark Calaway (The Undertaker), Shawn Michaels, and Dave Batista. The movie is scheduled to be released in 2007. Hopefully we can get an official confirmation on the details and stars of this movie because IMDB.com has been known to be inaccurate in the past.

The next WWE European tour is scheduled to take place from 4/14 through 4/24. RAW and SmackDown will be taped on 4/16 & 4/17 in Milan, Italy and again on 4/23 & 4/24 in London. This is believed to be the first time WWE has done two straight weeks of tapings outside North America.

Here's a brief update on things down in Deep South Wrestling, WWE's secondary developmental territory; Ryan O'Reilly, who had been appearing at ECW house shows in tag team matches with Derek Neikirk before being suspended for 30 days due to a drug test failure back in September, now has a completely different and a less impressive physique. For people wondering where Gangrel is, he's still under contract to WWE and regularly appearing on DSW shows under his real name, David Heath. There is another new Diva down in DSW, her name is Brooke Adams - who is a bikini model. Adams tried out for this year's Diva Search, but didn't make the cut. She now has a role in DSW as an interviewer. Although, she doesn't have a developmental contract just yet. And last but not least, Krissy Vaine has a new role in the form of the commissioner of DSW.
Now i thnik that if that movie is real.It could have potential to be great.

WWE hall of famer The Iron Shiek recently filmed a reality show pilot for a Canadian music channel. Another former WWF champion to get a reality series?

Lance Storm has agreed to become a columnist for the Fight Network in Canada.

Despite the claim by Jeff Jarrett that Hulk Hogan signed a 20 year contract with WWE during last week's conference call, the former WCW and WWE champion stated in a recent interview that he is working on a handshake deal with Vince McMahon. Hmmm.

I just wanted to know if there is any news about how Mickie James is after that shot that she took to the face from Lita last night on Raw, they showed it in slow motion a couple of times and it looked pretty nasty and Mickie looked really shook up.

We can report that Jim “J.R.” Ross signed a new contract with World Wrestling Entertainment Monday in Baltimore prior to going on the air for Monday Night Raw. Terms of the agreement were not made public. Ross’ long term WWE contract had expired on October 29 and J.R. had continued to work as the “voice of Monday Night Raw” under the terms of an extension. J.R. joined the WWE in 1993 after beginning his career in 1974 and previously worked in the wrestling business for WCW, Jim Crockett Promotions, UWF, Mid South Wrestling, and Championship Wrestling. Ross has broadcast more major wrestling events than any other broadcaster in the history of the business. We expect J.R. to address his new working relationship with the WWE on this site later in the week unless the avid OU Sooner fan is too busy preparing to attend the OU-OSU Bedlam football game this Saturday afternoon in Stillwater, Oklahoma.

Most of the talent that signed on for ECW back in the spring agreed to some really low downside contracts. Most of the "ECW Originals" agreed to $500 a week deals (or about $26,000 a year), which is actually less than what a lot of the developmental talent get, not to mention considerably less than what lower tier RAW and SmackDown talent get. The downsides are so low for ECW talent that their biggest acquisition, Sabu, agreed to a $1,500 a week contract ($78,000 a year). Although, considering that he's solidly booked and often appears at pay-per-view events, he'll earn far more due to bonuses.

Internally, the plan is to combine ECW and SmackDown house shows (and some RAW) until at least April 2007.

Stephanie McMahon has declared former Tough Enough contestant Daniel Rodimer as being "the next big thing" and she wants him to start on RAW by January at the earliest. And when he does come up, she wants "something big for him." Internally, according to people who have seen him or worked with him, everyone believes (besides Stephanie) that even a January 2008 call-up would be pushing it for him. Rodimer has only been wrestling since August. Nonetheless, he has the look that WWE loves, moreso than anyone else in developmental, and perhaps some people already in WWE. Rodimer is 6-6 and nearly 300 pounds.

The company wanted Rodimer to win the 2004 Tough Enough, but he didn't do much in the competition besides look big and cocky. Also, his promos weren't too good and he didn't stand out in the competitions, which is why he was eliminated fairly quickly. Although, he does have an athletic background as he played college football at the University of South Florida, but was not a star there.

Regarding his work in DSW, he gets over in personality there, but his matches haven't gotten over too well - and DSW is considered to be the "easy level." Then again, he just started last August.

PWInsider reports that the feeling backstage is that Sabu is lucky to have a job with WWE right now after several incidents that had WWE management furious. As previously reported, Sabu was initially punished by being squashed by Umaga on TV for showing up late to several shows and actually falling asleep backstage in the pre-production area.

As if he was not in enough heat already, there was yet another incident. After the ECW tapings he was supposed to film some promotional stuff for the December To Dismember PPV, but he blew it off. Apparently he was out of the building long before the end of the show.

Right now, all indications point to Sabu being suspended or even released by WWE some time in the near future unless he can get his act together and turn things around.

Someone should tell him he doesn't work at a bingo hall anymore.Step up and be a pro.

Do you guys remember when they dropped the King of the Ring as a PPV? It was one of the classic 5. I always thought that they should have kept it and got rid of Survivor Series. I think the Survivor Series setup was lame. (Royal Rumble set up being the best IMO)

Does anyone really care that DX's team won? Or that Ric Flair's team won? I know they brought back King of The Ring for Smackdown only, and look at what it did for King Booker

I remember reading that a big reason Survivor Series is still around is because of its history with Montreal.

What do you guys think?

WWE.com is reporting that Smackdown diva, Michelle McCool was hospitalized over the Thanksgiving holiday and remains in the hospital for “an enlarged kidney and an electrolyte imbalance”. Apparently McCool went to the hospital because of general sickness and acute back pain a move that may have saved her life.

The hospital ran several tests including an ultrasound to discover her illness and according to WWE’s doctor, Dr. Ferdinand Rios, if the condition had been left un diagnosed she could have had heart or kidney failure.

In the article their doctor said “Her condition was complicated by an electrolyte imbalance; sometimes those cannot be corrected immediately, and due to lack of sodium [in her body] she needed a lot of intravenous fluids. Michelle most likely suffered a fractured sternum from one of her matches where she may have been kicked in the chest. She’s getting better and is getting stronger, and at this time is free from infection, When I spoke to her she was in good spirits.”

Due to being in poor physical condition, it is likely that the Big Show will soon need to take time off. This could be as soon as after Sunday's Elimination Chamber match.

Despite having turned down a contract extension, WWE still wants to use Big Show at WrestleMania 23 next year.

One source was quoted: "I like Big Show, but his problems are because he's lazy, not anything else. He won't diet; he'll want some magic pill or radical surgery to lose the weight he needs to lose."

The official TNA website has added Tyson Tomko to their roster page, thus meaning that he is an official member of TNA. He will simply be going under the name "Tomko". Furthermore, there is no actual profile page linked from his picture at the moment.

Kurt Angle recently told Chris Sabin that he was a great wrestler, but he didn't like his look. Angle said that he looked "dirty" and that he didn't stand out. Anyways, Kurt Angle then made the suggestion for Sabin to do a gimmick where he would be like the cartoon character Pig-Pen from the old "Peanuts" comic strip and have food & dirt all over him. Angle was actually serious with his suggestion. After people heard about his suggestion, those that were initially excited about his creative input were shaking their heads.

According to multiple backstage sources, Rob Van Dam seems to be very miserable with his current situation in ECW. His contract is due to expire in the next 6 months and it doesn’t look as if he is going to re-sign. - RVD in TNA?

Some people backstage are wondering if Sabu is trying to get his release with his recent behavior. As was reported here, Sabu has had major backstage heat recently for falling asleep backstage for hours at a time, and for other unprofessional behavior. "It's almost as if he's trying to get fired", one source told us.

Virtually all of the ECW "Originals" are frustrated and disappointed with the direction things have gone.

The ECW announce team had expected to be involved in some way at Survivor Series but when they arrived at the building for the show they were told they weren't going to be used.

WWE drew a live crowd of 14,400 (paid) for a gate of $931,000 at the 11/26 Survivor Series in Philadelphia.

Henry O. Godwinn finally made his debut during a dark match at last night's SmackDown tapings in Florence, South Carolina. In an interesting matchup, he teamed up with Ray Gordy (son of Terry Gordy) to defeat the team of Tatanka and Rob Conway. Godwinn hit the Slop Drop on Conway for the win. Also, Godwinn had his slop bucket in tow.

Several profiles have been recently removed from the SmackDown section on WWE.com. In addition to Josh Mathews' profile being removed, the profiles of Jake & Jesse of the Gymini, announcer Steve Romero, and Joey Mercury have been removed as well. All five individuals are still under contract to WWE and haven't been released. Romero & Mathews haven't appeared on SmackDown in months and are now doing work for international recap shows & WWE 24/7. The Gymini are currently down in DSW and should be brought up to the main roster eventually. Joey Mercury's official status is currently in limbo, but he's expected to head over to ECW as a singles heel as early as this week.

Jim Ross posted several new blogs on his site yesterday. In one of the blogs, he gives his thoughts on Monday's RAW, not to mention the current WWE scene. Among the highlights of the blog are his thoughts on Joey Mercury. Ross wrote, "Good to see Joey Mercury back from his hiatus. Mercury has too much talent to allow anything negative to take him out of the game. I hope Joey realizes that opportunities don’t come along every day and to count his blessings and take advantage of the moment. I think he will." He also name-drops Charlie Haas, Shelton Benjamin and Rob Conway - three individuals who haven't appeared on RAW much as of late. Regarding them, Ross wrote, "How hungry do you think Shelton Benjamin, Charlie Haas, and Rob Conway are to get an opportunity to become bigger stars than they already are? Really hungry I would suggest. I like the upside of all these guys and feel they will elevate their games in the near future. There is no doubt that all three of these men can wrestle."

Former ECW World champion The Big Show is expected to finish up his WWE commitments tonight at the combined Monday Night Raw/ECW taping. Show is scheduled to challenge new ECW World champion Bobby Lashley on tomorrow's edition of ECW on Sci Fi.

Show has been talking about taking time off due to a multitude of injuries and will finish his on-air role at tonight's taping.

From WWE.com: Last week, WWE Hall of Famer “Rowdy” Roddy Piper was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma. Also known as Hodgkin’s disease, Hodgkin’s lymphoma is a form of cancer found in the body’s lymphatic tissue. The lymphatic system helps filter out bacteria and is important in fighting diseases. Piper was sent home early from WWE’s early-November tour of the United Kingdom and hospitalized for surgery, where doctors removed a mass at the spinal cord with an enlarged lymph node. The mass was completely removed, but the lymph node was positive for Hodgkin’s lymphoma. Piper is currently undergoing radiation therapy, which is used to treat Hodgkin’s lymphoma. It is an extremely successful procedure, so the prognosis is very good for Piper.

Divas Rebecca DiPietro and Maryse Ouellet are in the December 2006 issue of Playboy magazine. The 2006 $250,000 Diva Search contestants are highlighted in the Grapevine section of the Gala Christmas Issue, which features examples of their past modeling work for Playboy. The magazine also features cover girl Cindy Margolis, who recently offered advice to SmackDown Diva Ashley, who will pose for Playboy in the near future.
