Emma is a beautiful violinist in her mid-20's, who's been blind for 20 years. When
she gets a new type of eye operation, it partially restores her sight. But she is having
some difficulties, sometimes she doesn't remember things she's seen until later. One night
she's awakened by a commotion upstairs. Peering out of her door, she sees a shadowy figure
descending the stairs. Convinced that a neighbor woman's been murdered, she goes to the
police, only to find that they're not sure if it was real, or just her unsure eyesight deceiving her...
