24wrestling reports the following:

The Boogeyman (Marty Wright) has been re-signed by WWE. He will be training at Booker T's school in Houston.
In what has to be a record turnaround, WWE signed Marty "Boogeyman" Wright to a new deal. The decision came within the last 24 hours because yesterday he was heavily campaigning looking for independent bookings at $700 a shot. Wright will be training in Texas out of Booker T's school, according to the WWE website. Wright was released two weeks ago after the company decided he wasn't putting the proper effort into rehabilitating a torn biceps he suffered back before Wrestlemania 22.

It looks like we haven't seen the last of Kevin Nash in TNA as he will be appearing on Impact next week to make a statement regarding the 10/22 Bound For Glory PPV.

Kurt Angle's first TNA broadcast appearance will be in the form of a sitdown interview on next week's edition of Impact. He will give the "inside story" on his arrival to TNA, what his immediate future holds, his role as the "enforcer" during the Jarrett vs. Sting PPV match, and he'll also speak out on WWE in the interview.

WWE has generated more than one million pay-per-view buys from the WrestleMania 22 pay-per-view, representing, more than $37.7 million in gross revenue worldwide. Our domestic take alone for this event was more than $31.8 million, making it arguably the No. 1 pay-per-view of 2006.

Rey Mysterio is scheduled for knee surgery in about two weeks. They may do an injury angle tonight during the Falls Count Anywhere match with Chavo Guerrero.

Although plans can change very quickly, the plan was for Booker T to retain tonight.

Mr. Kennedy is in line for a huge push in the coming months so it'll be interesting to see what happens tonight in his match with 'Taker.

Look for Michelle McCool to get involved during the tag match tonight, possibly costing London and Kendrick the titles.

We don't have any confirmation of who MVP will be facing tonight although Chris Benoit's name had been talked about.
Dave Meltzer reports that Moolah and Mae Young were both asked to attend RAW on Monday in Columbia, South Carolina which is where they are from. As of yesterday, neither was asked to be in the strip poker game. Mae (83 years old) is said to be hurting pretty bad but has agreed to do an angle if needed.

Just about everyone expects Kane to lose the match Monday on RAW with Umaga and then take several months off, rumored to be around six

In Alex Marvez' recent column, UFC President Dana White commented that if Kurt Angle was actually serious about fighting in MMA, it wouldn't be with the Ultimate Fighting Championships. "I wouldn't hire someone who is doing both. I would never blow that line. You're either a fighter or an actor," said White.

Hell in a Cell 2 - Mankind Vs Undertaker - King of the Ring 98 - crazy match that started my love of Mick Foley

Cactus Jack Vs HHH - Royal Rumble 2000 - I've seen this match So many times that I know what JR and 'The King' say. Still a great match.

HBK Vs Angle - Wrestlemania 21 - Possible my favourite match of all time loads of great spot and fake finishes that kept me on the edge of my seat right up to HBK tapping.

I also forgot about Bret vs. owen at Wrestlmania. There was like 22 near falls. The best part was that Owen won also.

.

Totally agree.HBK and bret were at the peak of their careers and put on a great show for 60 minutes. The ending was crap though:confused:

The boiler room match between mankind and taker with hot coffee splashed in the face of the dead man:crazy:

Any ladder match between the hardys, edge and christian and those damn dudleys would be right up there amongst the most entertaining matches.

savage v/s steamboat is considered the greatest match by the wrestlers but i never saw it.Has anyone seen that match and can comment on it?

prowrestlingscoop reports:

"Since losing the “Loser Leaves RAW” match last night, it appears Kane is now scheduled to head to the SmackDown brand. As reported earlier, Kane is scheduled for some time off to rest due to his hectic schedule the past few months promoting his movie and competing on RAW. As of now, when he returns it will be on SmackDown!"

Terri Bey sent this in:
John Cena was on Cold Pizza this Morning. They discussed his training for the movie, "The Marine." He was asked if he would leave wrestling for the movies like the Rock and he said he would have to have two full time jobs. They talked about his match on RAW with the Undertaker. Cena critiqued AJ Perzinski on TNA. AJ and Cena compared the TNA and WWE Championship belts.

Johnny Hollie sent this in:
The interesting thing that happened on Cold Pizza was when A.J. Pierzynski came in to "challenge" Cena. He was carrying the X division title that TNA gave him. Cena said he thought he saw that belt in the gumball machine outside when they compared belts. They also showed clips of last night with the Undertaker and Cena said that if he is successful in acting he would do both.

Robbie Strothman sent this in:
I attended the taping for the SpikeTV Scream Awards on Saturday night. Kurt Angle was one of the people to present the "Breakthrough Performance" Award. The crowd didn't really cheer too much for Kurt, but it was a Horror/Sci-Fi/Comic/Fantasy Awards show, not too much of a wrestling crowd there. It will air Tuesday, October 10 at 10pm on SpikeTV.

Shane Giles sent this in: Bret Hart recently did an interview with my local radio station, WLR FM, here in Waterford, Ireland. In the interview he said that he would be interested in going to TNA at some point if they had something constructive for him to do with Kurt Angle on screen. He also stated that he hasn't spoken with Vince McMahon since the Hall of Fame in April. He also talked about his autobiography.

In less than an hour, the link to video footage posted on the popular "YouTube" website showing a brief clip of Kurt Angle's debut at the TNA TV tapings in Orlando, FL last night to air in two weeks on October 19 has now been pulled. We can only assume that TNA officials were not happy about this footage from the tapings getting out early before it airs in two weeks on Spike TV and had it removed quickly.

John Cena will be making appearances on 106 & Park on BET and Late Night with Conan O’Brien on NBC tonight. He will be on Howard Stern for one hour tomorrow, and The Best Damn Sports Show Period on Thursday.

Even though Kane is technically off the RAW roster, his bio page still remains on WWE.com. He is scheduled to join SmackDown whenever he is set to return.

WWE has pulled Harry Smith, the son of the late Davey Boy Smith, from the Raw road crew. Apparently creative has nothing for him. Hmmm

There's a small photo on ECW.com of Maria going at it with Candice Michelle. Well, if you look at the picture closely, you can tell that Maria was wearing a flesh-colored thong during the scene, thus meaning that she wasn't actually nude.

Psicosis was arrested Monday night after he stole a black Mitsubishi. Psicosis allegedly pulled a gun wrapped in a towel and pointed it at someone who he took the car from.

Mexican police attempted to apprehend Psicosis, who instead took off, striking several cars in the ensuing chase. An 18 year old pregnant woman, Yesenia Saraí Mejía Lopez, was riding in one of the cars that were hit. She was treated by paramedics at the scene but was OK.

Dusty Rhodes turns 61 years old today. I was a bit surprised Rhodes wasn't named lead writer on the Smackdown side since he's been on the writing staff for awhile now. Apparently, he considered an "idea guy" more than anything else.

Today is also former WWWF grappler and AWA world champion Stan Hansen's birthday. Hansen turns 57 today. Happy birthday to both legends.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Mick Foley is finishing up his third wrestling autobiography, picking up where he left off from "Foley is Good."

Speaking of books, Bret Hart's autobiography is finished. It is said to be around 900 pages long. Random House Canada has the Canadian rights to the book, and it will be interesting to see how it is edited.

Brett Hart book will be about 850 page about how he got screwed.I am a Canadian and use to be a Brett Hart fan.Every time he talks all he talks about is how he got screwed.Brett Hart wanted to retire with the belt.Who the hell is Brett Hart to get to retire with the belt.Hulk Hogan never got to retire with the belt.He is alot bigger star then Brett Hart.So was Andre the Giant and Ric Flair both didn't and will not get to retire with the belt.Brett is a cry baby.He should be more pissed about his brother passing away.I have seen him on TV lots since Owen passed. He talks way more about being screwed then about Owen.
