For a while now I have had a problem with DepositFiles that seems to affect every file Dead Link Removed ion this forum using it.

Using Firefox it goes through the motions and then says "file doesn't exist".

Using JDownloader it goes through the motions and then says "Server error-wait ten minutes", and after ten minutes it happens again, over and over.

So has something changed with DepositFiles or do we need an account now?

Maybe your DF snafu-->?

It may have to do with the software your using in conjunction with the web? Do you use any VPN or uploading software? I do know using VPN software screws up you're uploads there...

I traced the issue to using Nord VPN with DepositFiles. They require you to go straight with your actual IP address. The problem is I bought a BluRay movie and then downloaded it so I could have it on my computer, but my ISP (AT&T Uverse) sent me a nasty email telling me they knew I downloaded copy righted material and they would report me if I ever did it again (I owned the BluRay so it was legal!). Since then I use Nord VPN for EVERYTHING online. So I vote we ban DepositFiles from this site fore safety reasons.
