Elsa Sorensen

Elsa Sorensen (March 25, 1934 in Copenhagen, Denmark – April 18, 2013 in Florida) was a Danish model who did most of her work under the pseudonym Dane Arden. Under her real name, she was Playboy magazine's Playmate of the Month for the September 1956 issue. Her centerfold was photographed by Peter Gowland.

Sorensen was Miss Denmark 1955 prior to her Playboy appearance. Sorensen is believed to be the first Playmate who was not from the United States.
