Milwaukee's best was my favorite beer when younger. When I met the girl that was to be my wife, I upgraded to Busch, so as to impress her with the fact that I didn't drink cheap beer. :D
Busch really was a fine beer for general consumption, but I really had a thing for Grolsch when I had the money.
Guinness is also good when a fast drinking pace is not desired.
After a hot day of yard work or mowing the grass, nothing beat an ice cold busch light. Which would be followed by a shower then better beer.
But the truth is that I don't drink anymore... :( Oh well. If I start drinking again, Guinness will be the first beer I grab.

guiness??? you're supposed to drink beer, not eat it with a spoon...

since i'm from St. Louie, gotta give props to my hometown AB products (bud/bud lite, busch/bush lite), michelob amber/ultra when the ol' blood sugar's on the fritz, sam adams is always a fine accomplice to a good time, and i've been known to hit killion's irish red on occaision. :)

heinies? only when i'm eating something...ya just can't drink them straight

and for the one and only jess...cuervo gold? try cabo wabo 8) . blue agave beats the crap out of yellow pee tequila any day.

and in closing, a poem:

i like beer...it makes me a jolly good fellow.
i like beer...it helps me unwind and sometimes it makes me feel mellow.
whiskey's too rough, champaigne costs too much...vodka puts my mouth in gear...
this little refrain should help me explain: as a matter of fact, i like beer!

The Atlantic Canadian Redneck in me likes Alpine Lager
http://www.alpinelager.com/mainpage.html

But the beer connoisseur prefers local micro-brews and/or good, solid stouts and cream ales from the motherland! Lately I have been venturing into the continent too.

Local: Cadian Cream Ale

Import: Guiness Stout

or...

If anyone knows where you can buy Jamaican Dragon Stout let a brother know.

By the time the bottles get here it tastes a little rank, but they just brought in the cans (big and small) and it is amazing. Sales aren't high enough to bring in draught though. I would love to try it!

Yeah, singhr, I am on the East Coast and due to the fact that we are almost entirely Irish/Scottish descent Rednecks we tend to hate any beer that isn't:

a) From the Isles
b) Local
c) Featured on the side of a NASCAR race team

So as a result, Stella draught would take some serious marketing to crack the shell on any of the bars, in my area anyway. It is too bad too because the more I drink the cans the more I love it.

singhr... I will finally get to try the Stella Draught!!!

New bar in town is carrying Stella, the entire Guiness suite (Guiness, Kilkenny, Harp's, Smithwicks), and some of the local micros all on tap. I think that it is going to be very drunk out in 2005!

Rev, you should get one of those: www.perfectdraft.com
Make sure you pic Belgium on the first page

New in Belgium, brother-in-law has one.

The machine cost about $140.
You choose Stellla or Jupiler. Comes in barrels of 6 litres.

The beer is cooled, ready to be tapped, the barrel can be preserved 28 days after opening.

This will be awesome at summer BBQ
