Suranne Jones (born Sarah Anne Jones on 2 January 1979) is an English actress. She is best known for playing the role of Karen McDonald in ITV1's Coronation Street over a period of four years.

She is also recognisable from an appearance in a high-profile commercial for Maltesers which was filmed shortly before she joined the programme, but frequently screened throughout her early career on the iconic soap opera.
