Road Trip...Help Me Out

I am embarking on a massive road trip in a couple of days and I was hoping that some of you could give me ideas on what to do while I'm traveling.

I leave from Michigan and plan on going through the Northern part of the U.S to start things off (Montana, Dakotas, Wyoming). After that, I am shooting up to Seattle, cutting down to Portland, and then gliding through California in its entirety. If time permits, I will spend some time in Vegas, Tijuana, and Colorado.

Obviously, there are landmarks and places that I've already incorporated into the trip (Mt. Rushmore, Natl. Parks, San Diego Zoo, etc.).

What I ask of you guys is if you know of any "off-the-beaten-path" destinations, cool restaurants in California cities, etc. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Safeco field in Seattle is supposed to be an awesome baseball park if you are into that kind of thing and the shcedule works. Same with PacBell in San Fran (or whatever it goes by now). not really off the beaten path, but something I personally would definitly look into

I don't know much about the western US, but I have been to Vegas. Vegas advice is easy, just stick to the strip. From what I saw, there isn't much exciting in the city besides the fancy hotels and casinos, so just stick to Las Vegas Blvd and the surrounding streets ;)

Hodge...Thanks for the suggestions and yes, I do like baseball. I have heard that PacBell tickets can get quite pricey...

Jess...I forgot to mention that aspect. Yeah, I am going with 2 friends so any raunchy activities are acceptable haha.

Cman...Sticking to the strip seems to be the general advice from everyone I've talked to. Maybe we'll just skip Vegas and go to Barstow or Reno (yeah right).

Might want to check into renting a Mobile camper or whatever you call em. Might be pricey but so will hotels and there are rest stops everywhere that you can use. Man i've always wanted to stock up on water and gas and drive all the way down route 66. After seeing that shit in all the movies, i bet it would be awesome if the heat didn't fry that ass.

Tijuana is fun when you are young and can't get into the bars in Downtown. But once you hit 21, TJ kinda looses it purpose... well other than crappy dirt weed..

Montana - check out Lewis & Clark Caverns, (outside Helena) Carlsbad gets all the notoriety but they are way commercial. These caverns you'll feel like you could be one of the 1st people to see them. If you get through Whitefish, the waterslides their aren't too bad.

Wyoming (after mount rushmore, BORING!) you can see Devil's Tower.

Any Deja Vu in Washingtion is recommended for a good couch dance.

Funny, I've lived in Wyo, Mont, Wash and now Colo. If you come to CO eat at Casa Bonita.. The food is horrid but it's worth it for the atmosphere.

shit, I'm late... damn exp0sed anyway.
